Step 4: Members & Teams

# Step 4: Members & Teams

Add people to your organization and group them into teams.

## Members

Have your **user roles** set up, and ready to add folks to our Gumloop organization? Navigate to the **Members** tab under **People & Access**.

From here you can add new members either individually or in bulk via the **Add Member** button in the upper-right. You can also manage existing members including adjusting their roles/permissions, viewing an overview of what all they have access to, or removing users from the organization.

Keep in mind: **user roles** are additive, so if a user has been given more than one role, they have the most permissive permissions of the grouping.

## Teams

You can create teams within your organization to give further structure. For example, teams such as a Marketing team, Operations team, etc. allow you to share agents, skills, knowledge sources and more with all members of that team, rather than one-by-one. If you haven't already, learn more about the [difference between teams and user roles here.](/admin-guide/introduction.md)

\
From the **Teams** tab, select **Create Team** to name and brand new teams:

Once created, back on the main **Teams** tab, click into the row of any team to edit its configuration, manage its members, or delete the team. Note that you can also give team-wide connector access from here as well.
